About Us
Joemarine Institute of Nautical Studies and Research is private indigenous maritime institute duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) , and approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) British Standard Institute (BSI) ISO 29993:2017, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) to conduct both regular and short courses/training in line with the requirement of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) meeting the standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping (STCW) Convention, 1978, as amended. The institute also have a quality management system that conforms to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 standards as well carry out consultancy services and Offshore, Oil and Gas trainings such as BOSIET, HUET, FOET, etc in line with NUPRC and OPITO requirements.
