About Us

The Oil and Gas Trainers’ Association of Nigeria (OGTAN) is a professional body established to promote and advance human capital development within the Nigerian oil and gas industry. Founded in alignment with the NOGICD Act of 2010, OGTAN’s primary mission is to standardize and enhance the quality of training and skills development in the sector, supporting local content growth and compliance with national mandates.
With a network of over 400 member companies, OGTAN serves as a key facilitator in the development and accreditation of training programs for the oil, gas, and energy sectors. The association works closely with key stakeholders—including government regulatory bodies, international organizations, and educational institutions—to foster collaboration and improve industry standards.
